Hi Marilyn, Here's a suggestion I hope you will seriously consider. Since so many docents have trouble projecting their voice in the larger galleries, esp. when surrounded by other talking, bustling visitors not in the tour group, could the Doc. Council consider purchasing one or two mini portable microphones, the kind you attach to your belt with a little headset you talk into so hands are free for using laser or pointing. I have a soft voice but it's the timbre, so that even when I talk loudly it's hard to hear me. The effort it takes to project takes away fr my concentration on content and interaction. I'm okay with a mike, I can truly relax. I can get info on prices, styles, etc. Let me know. Thks. Holly P.S.
