For those of you interested in Abstract Expressionism, there is a new exhibit at the Jewish Museum through September 21. 1109 Fifth Avenue at 92nd Street, 212-423-3271. You will recognize works by Hans Hofmann, Lee Bontecou, Arshile Gorsky, and of course Pollock and de Kooning. Of particular interest is the influence of Clement Greenberg and Harold Rosenberg, two Jewish art critics who had major influences at this time. Hi Docents.

We have several social events coming up. Our annual spring party will be hosted by Donna Grell at her home in Northwest DC. All are invited. If you have been here in years past, you know how much fun it is. Please plan to attend. Date: June 1

Our Mad Hatter Tea party will be at the museum. It is their way to thank us. We will be together with the weekend docents. Date: June 10
